28mm delivers a three-track airy and captivating melodic EP on the Understated @ Nite label, which concentrates on the dark, techno, melodic, and progressive sounds emerging from LA's thriving underground dance music scene. Understated is eager to present the new ‘Lapse’ EP as tracks that pull the listener into a mesmerizing dimension. Each track is melodic and energetic in its own way. 'Lapse' immediately draws you in with its percussive bassline and vocal cuts. More arpeggios layer and swell into a single pounding kick drum and snare, true to 28mm's techno roots. Chords, bells, and horns dance around each other to make up 'Clarity'. Delicate in its approach, 'Clarity' is an ethereal journey that takes shape into a club-ready stomper. ‘Oversoul’ is faster than the other two tracks and feels darker, yet still airy and captivating, and perfectly completes the three-track EP.
